A Life in Improv

Away from his acting parts, Finn was an improv performer and served as an educator at the Colorado university, where he was a professor.

He was a member of a six-person improv troupe called "Beer Shark Mice".

"He coached, befriended and mentored countless students during his career and it would be difficult to find a person anyplace who has an unkind word to say about him," his relatives stated.

Offering condolences, fellow actor Richard Kind said there was "nobody more kind, gentle, and humorous, down to earth person you could encounter".

"Always positive, helping you be funnier and better. A wonderful father and man," Kind wrote online.

Pat Finn is remembered by his partner Donna, his three kids, and his family.
